Let’s hear it for Brad Keselowski.
On July 9, 2016 in Sparta, KY, Brad Keselowski of Team Penske won the Quaker State 400 with just enough gas to reach the finish line. The last time Keselowski won the Kentucky was back in 2014 and the time before that was in 2012.
It was a stunning victory and a carefully calculated one. After he won the race, Keselowski stated he couldn’t do burnouts for the fans because his car ran out of gas. This race proves how much Nascar can be a chess match between drivers.
